Gurlaj Sandhu, BSc

Gurlaj is a Master of Science (MSc) student in the Department of Community Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba and a part of the CARe team. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology at the University of Manitoba. Her thesis project focuses on understanding the impact of child maltreatment on sleep outcomes in Canadian adolescents.

Research

Gurlaj's research interests include child maltreatment and child health outcomes, with a focus on intervention, prevention, and resilience. She is particularly interested in identifying protective factors that contribute to better outcomes following experiences of child maltreatment.
